We have over 20 sets of samurai armor available. At any given time, 8–10 are on display in the studio, rotating monthly. You can choose the armor of your favorite shogun or warlord, and our NINJAAAZ team will assist you with dressing. Each guest may wear one set of armor, and the price is the same regardless of your choice. If you can’t decide, let your inspiration guide you!
2. Movie & Photo
Film cinematic videos and photos
If you already have an idea for your video, we will build the camerawork and structure around that vision. If not, don’t worry—we’ll create direction that matches the scene and atmosphere, resulting in a natural and captivating video. During filming, you can freely add your favorite poses or comments, making your movie truly original. After shooting, we’ll edit it into a cinematic 2-minute film. Together, we’ll create a one-of-a-kind Samurai Movie just for you! For photography, our studio is dedicated to authenticity—we never use composites or digital alterations. Instead, we focus on bringing out your true presence with professional lighting techniques that skillfully balance light and shadow. The result is cool, sophisticated photos that capture your essence, as if taken straight from a movie scene.
3. Projection Mapping
Experience immersive projection mapping
During your free time, dive into the recreated Sengoku world through immersive projection mapping. In this vivid, immersive space, feel free to snap photos with your smartphone or camera and enjoy every moment!
4. Location Shooting
Wear samurai armor and shoot at iconic sightseeing spots
This plan offers photoshoots in iconic Arashiyama sightseeing spots while wearing samurai armor. The three locations include two of Arashiyama’s most famous landmarks—Togetsukyo Bridge and the Bamboo Grove—and a traditional mountain tea house where you can enjoy matcha and wagashi, blending sightseeing with gourmet experience in one luxurious package. The armor is an original, lightweight version specially designed for outdoor shooting—still made of sturdy metal, so you’ll fully enjoy the authentic samurai feel! Travel between locations is by car for your comfort. If you want to both don armor and tour the sights, this is the perfect plan for you. Please enjoy this truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Rental Armor
Rent Samurai Armor

Our studio’s rental armor is not antique or plastic, but authentic iron armor handcrafted by skilled armor makers. At the same time, it is specially modified for easy movement, making outdoor walks comfortable and enjoyable. Once you see and touch it, you will surely be impressed by its solid weight and surprising ease of use. The plan includes a full set with everything you need for a samurai experience, such as armor and tabi shoes, with a rental time of 90 minutes. You can explore Arashiyama’s famous spots like Togetsukyo Bridge and the Bamboo Forest dressed as a samurai. Rentals are available from as early as 6:00 a.m., so you might even enjoy the sunrise from Togetsukyo Bridge in full samurai gear — a truly one-of-a-kind experience. This plan is perfect for those who want the freedom to enjoy Kyoto in authentic samurai style.
