Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
Take a peaceful morning stroll through the magical bamboo tunnel. Early mornings are ideal, as there are fewer crowds and it’s perfect for photography. During the day, the area can be quite busy, so the earlier you go, the better.

Kameyama Park Observation Deck
After leaving the bamboo grove, you’ll reach Kameyama Park. This spot offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Hozu River and the natural beauty of Arashiyama. Even during the day, it’s usually not too crowded, making it a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms or autumn leaves at your own pace.

🕗 8:00–8:30 Pan to Espresso to Arashiyama Teien

Enjoy breakfast at this popular Kyoto bakery café. Savor fragrant toast and latte while relaxing amid the greenery of the garden. While you could dine in, consider taking your bread to go as you head to your next destination.
