  On August 8, 2026, SHOGUN STUDIO JAPAN will officially open its new studio at HOTEL EMION KYOTO.

   

  At our new studio, you can enjoy an all-in-one Japanese cultural experience featuring a Samurai Experience, Ninja Experience, and an Authentic Tea Ceremony, all in a single location.

   

  Become a samurai by wearing authentic armor used in Japanese films and historical TV dramas, and enjoy a professional studio photo session with our Samurai Experience. We also offer a Ninja Experience, where you can dress as a ninja, take memorable photos, and enjoy ninja training activities such as shuriken throwing.

  In addition, inside our authentic Japanese tea room, you can experience the Urasenke Tea Ceremony Program while dressed as a samurai. We also offer a Matcha Experience, where you can prepare your own matcha using a traditional bamboo whisk. Enjoy seasonal premium Japanese sweets from Sasaya Iori Kyoto while immersing yourself in the beauty of Japan’s tea culture with all five senses.
