  SHOGUN Co., Ltd., a Kyoto-based company specializing in samurai cultural experiences, announced that it has become an official distributor of Japanese armor manufacturer Marutake as of April 1, 2026.

  Through this partnership, SHOGUN will begin selling authentic samurai armor and related items under its new brand “SHOGUN ARMOR GUILD.”

  The company will also continue expanding its samurai experience and filming services through its experience brand SHOGUN STUDIO JAPAN, combining cultural experiences with authentic samurai products to share the spirit of the samurai with the world.

  [1% Donation] Report on Donation of 2025 Sales Proceeds

  

  We are pleased to announce that 1% of our sales from August 5, 2025 (our opening date) through December 5, 2025has been donated to UNICEF. The donated funds will be used to support UNICEF’s Emergency Relief Programs for Natural Disasters, helping those affected by crises around the world.

  This donation was made from our 2025 fiscal year sales. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for your continued support and cooperation. Although 1% may seem like a small contribution, we sincerely hope it will help provide clean water, medical supplies, blankets, and other essential aid to as many people as possible in countries affected by conflict and natural disasters.

   

  What is the “1% Donation”?

   

  The 1% Donation is an initiative by SHOGUN STUDIO JAPAN, a brand dedicated to sharing Japanese samurai culture with the world through a new and contemporary perspective. With the goal of fostering mutual respect, connection, and coexistence between people and society, we donate 1% of all product sales to support humanitarian efforts.
